History
Hummul Carving Company has a long history as a woodcarving supply store.
Christian Hummul was founded in 1983.
Throughout the years, other wood carving supply companies have been added to make Hummul Carving Company what it is today. You may remember Craftwoods, Fox Carving or Stuart Carving. They are all a part of the Hummul Carving Company.
In August 2013, Ray & Mary Zajac retired from Christian Hummul and handed the reigns over to Cynthia Stewart-Kryshak. Christian Hummul became a part of the Cherry Tree Woodworking Group and joined their other woodworking catalogs. Cindy is no stranger to woodworking with over 30 years of experience and a Master's from Marc Adams School of Woodworking. The staff looks forward to helping you with your wood carving supplies.
As for Ray & Mary, they are now busier than ever. Ray, Mary & their son Matthew have been raising money for the Eos Therapeutic Riding Center. Ray & Matthew have been biking across the United States for their effort. We encourage you to visit the Therapeutic Riding Center's website and are sure Ray would love to see more donations while you are there.
2015 has brought a year of expansion for Hummul Carving Company with the addition of Fox Carving from Racine, WI. With Fox carving, many new items have been added, we've expanded our retail location and our catalog has almost doubled in size to make Christian Hummul one of the largest woodcarving supply companies in the United States.
