Product Description
Colwood Micro Fixed Tip Woodburning Pen
Colwood Micro Fixed Tip Woodburning Pen was made to scorch small areas of wood, especially for gradient tones, shading, and filling in. The micro pyrography tool was designed to create fine details including lettering, signatures, and shading.
The Colwood Micro Fixed Tip Woodburning Pen can be used in two different ways. One is to use it to draw the tip of the pyrography tool back towards yourself. This movement will shorten the stroke. The other way to use the Micro is a long sweeping motion of moving your hand sideways. You will develop a rhythm for consistent overlapping of lines with the sideways motion.
There are two Colwood Micro Fixed Tip Woodburning Pens with a 3/32" tip to choose from:
- Standard Micro Fixed Tip.
- Rounded Heel Micro Fixed Tip.
Colwood Micro Fixed Tip Woodburning Pen Specifications:

There are a few ways to keep your tip clean, use a leather honing strop, with aluminum oxide. Simply place a small amount of oxide on the strop and pull the woodburning tip across the strop surface or use a sanding stick with 320 grit to clear the tip of carbon while restoring them to a bright finish that creates clean strokes.
