Product Description
Colwood Primary Short Fixed Tip Woodburning Pen
The Colwood Primary Short Fixed Tip Woodburning Pen is one of the smallest of the point tips used for burning in tight and hard-to-reach areas. These Colwood fixed tips can also be used to outline or use the tip to create detail such as under feathers.
Most Tips when held at a 45° angle to the wood and rotated between the thumb and fingers allow you to use the tip as a calligraphy tip, creating thick lines or graceful curved lines.
The fine narrow tip reaches a higher heat than the wide tips. When the fine tip burns it's a darker impression, and the wide tips will burn a lighter impression.

There are a few ways to keep your tip clean, use a leather honing strop, with aluminum oxide.
