OCCT 1 1/2" detail knife (Large Handle)
I love this knife. I was using Flexcut knives for whittling, and had a lot of trouble cutting because of the beveled edge grind. The flat edge of the OCCT knifes gives a much easier cut, stays razor sharp, and is very comfortable in my hand. I highly recommend this knife.

Jack of all trades!
I've nothing but great experiences thus far with this knife by OCC Tools. The steel is razor sharp, never chatters, and holds its edge better than any flexcut knives I have, despite being in the same price range (I only have had to hone with my belt strop). I picked the small oak handle because I have large, lanky hands/fingers and prefer a pencil-like grip, and I get no hot spots or cramps after hours of carving. It can really do it all–chipping, gouging, and beyond as good as most proprietary knives. I've only had it for about 10 days but I know that spending the extra money on a high quality OCC knife will save me headaches down the road. I heard about them from my favorite Carvers on YouTube and Reddit, among other places, and I'm now understanding why OCC receives such high praise. My next plan is to get a small v tool and sweep gouge from Mike and Sherry, as well as a larger rough out knife, maybe a 2" or 2.25 to expedite carving, because this is my daily driver at the moment. I haven't been doing too large of projects that warrant such knives–no bigger than the palm of my hand. I would love to scale up, however! Kudos and thank you for being my nearest OCC Tools retailer!
